If you love nature, this is for you. Peaceful walks. Lots of birds. Dog walkers kept their dogs on leads.
Lovely little loch with several hides and a boardwalk between them. We saw lots of swans and a flock of geese.
Great for a wee wander and to see some wildlife
Excellent pathways and hides allowing you to view wildlife on the loch plus the trees and grasses and wild flowers. Well worth a visit.
Excellent reserve for viewing marsh harriers which nest here. Also good for fishing osprey which nest nearby. Good for raptors in general with buzzard, sparrowhawk, kestrel and red kite regularly seen. Whooper swans in winter. A family of beavers lives here but are seldom seen despite evidence of their presence everywhere. 3 good hides well situated for photography. No toilets or other facilities.
